For some time now we have also been actively targeting investment opportunities in the emerging areas of renewable and alternative energy. Areas of particular interest include equipment and services that will increase the competitiveness of power generation from renewable sources such as wind, wave, tidal and solar and equipment and services that will increase the capacity and operability of existing power distribution networks. Other key areas of interest include distributed and mobile power technologies such as fuel cells, advanced batteries and new materials.
