Jan has a strong background
in drug development and clinical research gained from 8 years
in industry working for Quintiles, Merck Sharp & Dohme and
Sandoz/Novartis, giving her a real appreciation of the issues
and challenges facing life science companies.
Before joining Scottish Equity Partners, Jan spent 3 years
with Dresdner Kleinwort Capital's Life Science team in London,
where she managed investments in biotechnology and medical
device companies in Europe and the USA. A registered pharmacist,
she also has an MBA from Henley Management College.
