ARKeX secures contract with world’s biggest oil company

ARKeX provides geophysical surveys for the oil, gas and mineral exploration industry and has secured a contract with Saudi Aramco to deploy its BlueQube gravity gradiometry technology in a marine survey of three blocks off the western coast of Saudi Arabia.

Paul Versnel, ARKeX VP Global Sales said: “We are delighted to have been awarded the contract from the largest oil company in the world. This is a great endorsement for gravity gradiometry and demonstrates the technology’s value in modern exploration.”

BlueQube gravity gradiometry technology measures minute variations in the earth’s gravitational field from aboard a ship or plane, delivering images of oil, gas and mineral deposits underground.
