David is a partner at SEP, having joined the firm in 2001.
A special affinity with the energy sector
When David joined SEP he brought with him a wide range of investment experience from working with RBS and in private equity with Bridgepoint Capital. He has invested across most industry sectors but he has always had a special affinity with the energy sector, having studied chemical engineering at university. He has focused on the oil and gas service sector since 1988 and also has a strong interest in the Cleantech sector. David uses two decades of investment experience to help portfolio companies consider and manage the challenges of growth and transition. His ability to identify key issues has been of great value to current portfolio companies such as Arkex and Atraverda, and previous investments such as MTEM.
