Julie is a principal at SEP. She focuses on investments in therapeutics, diagnostics and enabling technologies, from early stage through to marketed products.
She manages SEP’s investments in: Gendel, a university spinout developing platform technology for the treatment of cancer tumours; daysoft, a manufacturer of low cost daily disposable contact lenses; and Intercytex, a biotech company specialising in regenerative medicines.
Before joining SEP, Julie worked as an analyst for a US consulting firm, specialising in disease indication markets and emerging technology assessments. Before that she was a Research Fellow at University College London. Julie has degrees in molecular biology and medical genetics and a D.Phil in cardiovascular genetics from Oxford University.
