Emerging speciality pharmaceutical product company Arakis focused on rheumatology and oncology adjunctive therapy. The company made excellent clinical progress and partnered its lead product AD 237, renamed NVA 237, with Novartis in 2005. Arakis was acquired by Japanese listed Sosei in 2010 for £106.5 million. NVA 237 is currently in pivotal clinical trials with Novartis.
