Kiala was launched in 2001 and operates a pan-European network of outsourced collection points. Operating in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Spain it has developed a platform that enables e-commerce retailers to offer their shoppers the option of having goods delivered to a convenient retail location. Kiala was acquired by UPS in February 2012. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
