Orbital Software provided a person to person infrastructure for Internet and corporate portals. This software is used by Internet portals to create online communities, it can also be used to create question and answer forums. SEP first backed Orbital’s management team in 1997 and the company had a successful IPO in 2000. The company went on to become a subsidiary of Sopheon Inc.
