Fabless semiconductor company Wolfson Microelectronics is the leading global provider of high performance mixed signal semiconductors to the consumer electronics market. Its products are found in everything from hi-fis and DVD players to MP3 players and digital cameras. Wolfson was the largest UK technology IPO for three years when it achieved a valuation of £250 million on its flotation at the end of 2003. SEP remained supportive investors throughout and retained strong relationships with the company’s senior management team through to IPO and beyond.
