Indigo Pipelines

Indigo Pipelines is an Ofgem licensed company and one of the fastest-growing independent gas transporters in the UK. Working in partnership with SSE Utility Solutions, Indigo assists with the design, delivery and adoption of new gas connections across the UK.

Established by SSE plc as SSE Pipelines, the company was acquired by the Environmental Capital Fund, an energy growth infrastructure fund managed by SEP in 2014. As part of our investment portfolio, Indigo quickly grew its network of connections to over 180,000 residential and commercial properties throughout the UK.

In 2019 Indigo Pipelines was sold to independent infrastructure asset manager, Arjun Infrastructure Partners.
