SEP announces new appointments

Scottish Equity Partners (SEP) is pleased to announce two new appointments to its investment team.

David Stevens joins as a Senior Adviser. David started his career in venture capital before moving into investment banking with Goldman Sachs and then JP Morgan, where he was a Managing Director. He then fulfilled several senior leadership roles with the electronic trading technology firm ITG in Europe, Asia and the US, before a period as CEO of IT analytics company, Sumerian. David brings significant operating and financial experience to the firm and will focus on the origination and assessment of new investment opportunities.

SEP has also appointed Taylor Rampton, a graduate of the London School of Economics, as an Analyst. Taylor joins from global investment house Blackrock and will be based in SEP’s London office.

Alongside these latest additions to the firm, SEP partner Jan Rutherford is assuming responsibility for Investor Relations and will also head up SEP’s London office, while continuing to play a key role in the investment team.

SEP is planning on expanding its investment team further over the next 12 months.
