SEP invests in SSP

Scottish Equity Partners (SEP) has invested in SSP, a market leader in the provision of mission critical IT systems to the insurance industry.

The firm’s end-to-end services are delivered in 50 countries to over 50,000 users and help organisations to use data to better analyse risks, improve efficiencies across platforms, reduce costs and improve customer experience. The company is headquartered in Halifax and has a network of global operations.

Andrew Davison, Partner at SEP said:

“SSP has a long track record of delivering pioneering technology solutions to the insurance market. We are delighted to support this innovative business as it continues to help shape the insurance industry.”

SEP’s investment will support the management team as it aims to accelerate SSP’s growth in the UK and internationally, building on its strong broker customer base and introducing intelligent data services, including telematics and fraud detection, to the market.
