SEP portfolio in Sunday Times International Track 200
High growth companies Solarcentury and Matchesfashion.com, both backed by Scottish Equity Partners (SEP), feature in the 2017 Sunday Times International Track 200 which ranks Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest growing overseas sales.
Solar technology provider Solarcentury, which is listed at number 22, has boosted its overseas revenue with the completion of Holland’s largest solar photovoltaic farm and projects in Latin America and Africa. Online growth across America, Asia and Europe has seen luxury fashion retailer Matchesfashion.com increase its international sales with the company now delivering to 176 countries and recording revenues of £204 million in the year to January 2017.
The news follows the recent announcement that SEP backed Skyscanner has won the BVCA Scotland Large Company Team of the Year award. The Edinburgh based global travel search company was acquired by NASDAQ listed Ctrip in December 2016 for £1.4 billion.
