SEP signs Women in Finance Charter
Scottish Equity Partners (SEP) is one of the latest signatories to the Women in Finance Charter, a pledge by HM Treasury and participant firms to work together to build a more balanced and fair financial services industry. 300 firms across the country have now committed to improve gender diversity within the financial services sector.
Gender diversity at all levels of a workforce is key to growth and profitability for every business, large or small and SEP is proud to be a signatory of the Women in Finance Charter and the firm is committed to encouraging a sustainable and inclusive culture not only at SEP but also within its portfolio of investee companies and the venture capital and private equity industry more generally.
Calum Paterson, Managing Partner of SEP said: “It has been our experience that diverse thinking around the Board table benefits businesses. We are committed to improving diversity, inclusion and social mobility across the UK regions, and are pleased to join the signatories to the Women in Finance Charter.”
