SEP has provided further financial support to the Strathclyde Entrepreneurs Fund, which provides early stage investment in companies and ventures run by University of Strathclyde staff, students and alumni.
The fund has supported a wide range of companies since its inception, ensuring that they are better equipped to exploit market opportunities, attract next stage investment capital, and realise their growth potential. Investments include HindSight which is developing novel high-tech sports eyewear for cyclists that incorporates rear view capability, PresentPal, which provides presentation support software for dyslexic students and Soundbops, a developer of innovative musical education software and devices for children.
Calum Paterson, Managing Partner of SEP and an alumnus of the University of Strathclyde said: “The Strathclyde Entrepreneurs Fund plays a key role in encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship across the University. We are delighted to continue to support the creation and growth of new ventures by staff, students and alumni.”
