Fraser joined SEP in 2003. He was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2025 and is an equity partner in the firm.

He is responsible for SEP’s operations and plays a lead role in deal structuring, valuations and the financial analysis of new investments. He also assists SEP portfolio companies in capital restructuring and financing, leads our co-investment activity, and is a member of the firm’s Investment and Valuation Committees.

Fraser holds an MA from Glasgow University and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde. He chairs the BVCA’s Performance Measurement Survey Review Board.
