Angus Conroy

Angus is a Managing Partner and member of SEP’s Investment Committee.

Angus joined SEP in 2012 was appointed Managing Partner in 2025. He is a member of SEP’s Partnership Board and Investment Committee.

Angus specialises in enterprise technology businesses which address complex problems within large organisations. Software sub-sectors of focus include financial services, manufacturing automation, and life sciences.

He led SEP’s investments in manufacturing data platform Braincube, drug discovery software company Cresset, compliance software provider FundApps, financial data reconcilliation specialist AutoRek, and accounts payable automation provider Springtime. He also played key roles in other SEP investments, including SAP focused DevOps software provider Basis Technologies, global payroll software provider Immedis (acquired by UKG in 2023); and scientific informatics software specialist Dotmatics (acquired by Insightful Science in 2021). 

Prior to SEP, Angus was a member of Citigroup’s investment banking team. He was educated at the University of Glasgow and holds an LLB (Hons) degree in Law.
