Dublin based global payroll solution Immedis has agreed to be acquired by UKG, a leading provider of HR, payroll, and workforce management solutions; combining to transform the HCM industry by delivering unprecedented levels of visibility, flexibility, and accuracy across the multi-country payroll process.
The acquisition, subject to closing conditions, is expected to complete within 60 days.
Headquartered in Ireland, Immedis provides organisations with a modern global payroll technology platform built on a perpetual validation engine. This allows for consistent data modelling and reporting regardless of in-country provider. It also offers payroll managed services in 160 countries and 120 currencies. The company was founded in 2016 under the CluneTech group, a suite of technology companies focused on helping businesses simplify global business operations, led by Irish entrepreneur Terry Clune.
Through this acquisition, UKG will launch UKG One View later this year. One View utilises the strengths of both organisations to transform the traditionally fragmented global payroll model. With One View, customers will benefit from a singular “schedule to fund in one” experience that combines an AI-powered perpetual validation engine and continuous workforce management integration; hybrid deployment model which can be deployed in weeks allowing customers to bring other in-country payroll technology and services for immediate visibility; a set of uniform controls and KPIs that create one operational standard across countries; and consistent employee experience for all in an intuitive application, supporting 20+ languages across 160 countries.
Keith Davidson, who led SEP’s investment in Immedis and has been a member of the company’s board of directors commented; “We are delighted to have worked with Immedis over the last four years as it has grown in market presence, capabilities and international reach. We are pleased to have successfully partnered with CluneTech and wish Immedis continued success in its partnership with UKG.”
