Martin joined SEP in 2014 and leads the firm’s deal origination activities, identifying investment opportunities for SEP in growth stage companies across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.

He led SEP’s investment in API management platform Tyk, and was also involved in SEP’s investment in premium outdoor and sports apparel business SportPursuit.

Martin has been deeply involved in the European technology industry for over twenty years, having previously worked at private investment firm Forward Internet Group, investment banks Piper Jaffray and FirstCapital and in the Strategy Consulting practice at Accenture.

He is a graduate of the University of Strathclyde and holds a BA (Hons) in International Business and Modern Languages.
