We believe that by taking a responsible, long-term approach to investment and by understanding and managing risk we can create value for our investors and the companies we invest in while also benefitting society more broadly. We are signatories to the UNPRI. We are also members of industry bodies The British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA) and Invest Europe.
Our responsible investment principles
We have developed a framework which aims to address the most material aspects of responsible investment for high growth technology businesses.
In partnership with management teams, we use this framework to help share best practice and offer practical advice.
We also consider our own operations against these principles, ensuring we are a responsible business and employer in our own right.

It’s about bringing rigour and expertise to the company on environmental, social and governance issues too. We wanted investors who could also help with growing an ethical successful company and building a board that could facilitate that. SEP are ethically sound and know how to get companies up to speed on those aspects of business.
